Doing untargeted lipidomics experiments with complex matrices (serum, cells, tissues), I find the problem of contamination and carryover especially of Triglycerides that easily accumulate in the chromatographic column. Apart from the subtraction of the areas of these lipids through the Blanks and repeated washing performed during the batch, do you have any suggestions to manage this problem?

What mobile phases are you using?
Give this a try:
1% cyclohexane in isopropanol as your needle wash (30 seconds). I also use a chemwipe to manually wipe down the needle assembly between batches.

I am using 5 mM ammonium formate and 0.1% formic acid in water and 5 mM ammonium formate and 0.1% formic acid in isopropanol, I will try with cyclohexane in isopropanol as needle wash.
